Interview
The interviews were average both the phone and the onsite interview. Thought I got most of it okay. Although the interviewers switched positions or werent available for the day. I havent received an offer and I doubt they will send me one. However the least you would expect is for HR to call back and reply even in the negtive and some feedback might be good. Like another interviewer said Hortonworks might be doing some good work however they are completely disorganized and dont think the interviewees time is valuable enough for any sort of feedback from them. Wouldnt work here even if they called back.

Interview
My Profile was shortlisted by Hortonworks recruitment team.
I was interviewed for Software Security Engineer profile. There were three rounds of technical interview through Skype. One with Staff Engineer in Bangalore, Senior Manager and Director in US.
There was an on-premise interview where i was interviewed by one of the PMC member. Interview Schedules were well planned by the recruiter and was approachable throughout the process. Whole Process was completed in 2 weeks of time(from the time i got a call till getting the offer letter).

First I had to do a 100min long hackerrank test, with standard questions.
The interview felt more like an interrogation than a conversation, never once did the interviewer ask what I am looking for or what motivates me. He only managed to talk about the position after I asked him.
