Virtual interview with just one person, average difficulty, did not receive an offer. The interview itself lasted about twenty to thirty minutes. At the end of the interview they asked what questions I had for them.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Houston-Galveston Area Council (Houston, TX) in Mar 2024
Interview
Had an hour-long interview with the manager. We discussed the position and the Organization, along with the role it played in the community. We also discussed the team and how it was structured. This interview was a long shot, but if you take up someone's time, I think you should be courteous enough to let them know that you did not select them for the role. I was ghosted and had to e-mail 3 people before I knew my status. It's experiences like this that make job-seeking so demoralizing. I'm sharing this feedback in hopes they treat people with more dignity in the future.

Question 1
One of the first questions was a general "Tell me about yourself"
I applied online. I interviewed at Houston-Galveston Area Council (Houston, TX)
Interview
Asked good questions regarding the position and about the programs I knew. I did like who interviewed me.
HOWEVER Red flag from HR of asking me to send pay stubs from my current position saying that it is needed to provide employee verification. My pay information is not needed to verify where I currently work at. I sent them a pay stub with my salary blacked out and then they messaged me back saying that I needed to un mark it. When I responded to my reasoning for not sharing they ghosted me. Had to email my interviewer to find out I was taken out of consideration.
Interviewer = nice. HR = unprofessional.
