How would you handle a difficult customer?

Never let them get you upset, if they do, don't let it show! Listening & allowing the customer vent their concerns while you maintain composure & offer empathy helps diffuse the anger - the empathy helps take the directed anger off of you, and towards the situation. At that point, do what you can to appease the customer so that they remain a customer.
