Initial phone screening, & in-person interview with 3 people (engineer, technical lead, vp). My interview was solely virtual on Microsoft Teams. Interview was set at 9am, I was online waiting for an email or call when I finally received one 15 minutes later being asked why I was not online. Was never instructed to wait in the Microsoft Teams portal. Bad first impression because I had to set up in front of the interviewer.
Rapid-fire questions on Java & networking questions with hardly any time to think or elaborate on your answers. I was asked about 20 different questions in the span of 5 minutes. Pretty uncomfortable experience. I definitely lacked confidence after being bombarded with questions from the start.
