      Interview

------ I went through the recruitment process for a Business Developer position in Europe. While the team seems dynamic initially, the final contractual conditions they propose are unacceptable and directly violate European labor regulations (especially in Spain). They pitch a standard corporate role, but when the final offer arrives, they demand that you work as an "Autónomo" (Independent Contractor) under a B2B contract. The major red flag is that the actual day-to-day conditions are 100% those of a regular salaried employee: Mandatory working hours: You are strictly required to work a rigid schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, completely removing the organizational freedom that an independent consultant legally possesses. Company equipment: They provide the corporate laptop themselves and mandate the exclusive use of their internal tools and communication channels. Exclusivity & Subordination: They expect full-time exclusivity, constant micro-management reports, and strict KPI monitoring as if you were an internal staff member, yet they refuse to pay local social security contributions or provide basic employee rights. Advice to Management: If you want to operate and scale in the European market, you must comply with local labor laws. You cannot build a company culture focused on "workplace happiness" when your very first action with a worker is trying to bypass legal hiring practices to save on employment costs through such an obvious employment fraud.
