I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Humanitec (Copenhagen, Capital Region) in Jun 2025
Interview
I was ghosted after the initial HR screening.
During our conversation, I shared my current salary. The HR representative pointed out that their offer wouldn’t match it and asked if I was okay with that. I responded honestly, explaining that I couldn’t simply say yes or no because I didn’t yet know enough about the role. I said I’d like to learn more about the position and mentioned that I’d be open to a pay cut under certain circumstances.
The HR representative promised to send me an overview of their benefits and to schedule a meeting with the next person so I could better understand the role.
However, they never followed through.

Interview
There were 2 interviews before they ended the process. First one was with a recruiter. Usual stuff, nothing particular. The second interview got (initially) cancelled with a vague explanation that they are improving the process to give everyone a better chance. They came back a few weeks later and the interview was with a newly hired Engineering Manager. The discussion was nice and had the feeling it went well but I got a rejection a few days later without stating the reason. What I didn't like was that the interview scheduled on a Monday morning, was cancelled Sunday. The second interview with the engineering manager actually also got cancelled due to some double booking, so I had to re-book and reshuffle my appointments. The lack of feedback (my profile was technically a good match) was also annoying especially after going through 2 interviews.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There were a lot of questions about my experience and the engineering manager felt keen to knowing more about it.
After the conversation with the HR, I was invited to the second interview where two technical staff challenged with two JS problems that I had to solve on a shared google doc. Third interview was a general discussion on setting up codebases in React.

Question 1
Second interview did not have questions. Third interview was a list of generic React codebase and technologies questions.
