I had a phone screening with a recruiter. Then I had an interview with the Principal and Assistant Principal. I went into the classroom and I did a mock teach to the students who were there. That’s was on a Thursday. I got the job offer on the next Monday.
2 hours. Spoke with multiple administrators. Did a sample teach with live feedback in the classroom. They asked me to take a subject test even though I had the state cert subject test and graduated with a 4.0 and honors in the subject matter, so that was weird. But otherwise, not bad. Offered job within 2 days.
