Question 1
A probability question either to join a game or not
The process took 5 days. I interviewed at IMC Trading (New York, NY)
Interview
Round 1 is 30 min online assessment. Some very simple questions on analyzing graphs followed by an IQ style logical test.
Round 2 is pre-recorded video interviews, mostly behavioral with some brainteasers at the end.
Process felt very automated and depersonalized. I would strongly recommend a live Skype interview for a more natural conversation instead of this awkward format.
3 rounds, market making, quant, fit/personality/HR. Market making round they made us play a game and assessed how we quoted bid/asks, spread and asked to explain why. Quant round was standard, probability and puzzles, with added constraints/variants.
