I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at ITM TwentyFirst (Minneapolis, MN) in Jul 2016
Interview
Phone call with CTO. Code challenge. In-person interview, one-on-one with a handful of team members in succession. Whiteboard challenges in Javascript and SQL. There were definitely questions I didn't know the answer to.
I felt ambivalent about the company before the interview, but after the interview I definitely wanted the job. The people were so nice and it was so fun to talk tech with them, part of me didn't want to leave!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I don't even remember the question, but one person asked a whole series of questions about terminology I had never heard of.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ITM TwentyFirst (Minneapolis, MN) in Jan 2016
Interview
Contacted by a recruiter and had him send over my resume. Heard back a few days later and had a phone interview with their Sr. Dev. Was given an at home code challenge (in Knockout). Competed it in three days and sent it in. In person interview the next week. In person interview was with 1) HR, 2) Dev on the team the position was for, 3) Sr. dev on another team 4) Sr. Dev on the team the position was for. Both 3 and 4 asked two basic coding challenges each.
Final decision was that my tech skills were acceptable but that my attire to the interview (jeans/polo/sweater) was a deal breaker.
