I applied online. I interviewed at IWC Schaffhausen (Amsterdam)
Interview
Interview process included two stages: an initial conversation with HR followed by an interview with a team member.
The HR conversation was pleasant and informative. However, the second interview felt less aligned with the junior level of the role. Some questions seemed very specialised or not directly related to the responsibilities described in the job posting.
Overall, the experience highlighted a possible mismatch between the expectations for the position and the level the role was advertised for.

Question 1
The second interview included several highly technical questions about watchmaking and specific watch models. For example, questions about watch components, production timelines, and detailed knowledge of particular models. Some questions also explored logistics scenarios related to watch distribution.
For an internship focused on assisting the merchandising team, the level of technical watch knowledge expected seemed higher than anticipated for a junior position.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IWC Schaffhausen (New York, NY) in Feb 2024
Interview
The process was very chill, and they were very friendly. While I didn't get the job, it helped me in getting better at the interview process. I was told they would help me with pushing my resume elsewhere but that didn't happen.
