      Project Manager/Software Engineer Interview

      23 Oct 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Oxford, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Imaginera (Oxford, England) in Aug 2017

      Interview

First Round: face to face interview with the company owner lady. She was very sensible and decent lady. Second Round: It was with 2 account managers. The Indian fellow was a decent guy and asked sensible questions. Unfortunately the other person was an unpleasant idiot who probably knew only about sql and drilled through sql queries on white board despite I told him sql is a very easy thing but I'm not fresh with it. The most offending thing he said to me while pointing towards people working outside that these are very intelligent people, all of them, the company owners are very smart people and if you are not smart then they will not hire you. sql and wpf are a must, without this you cant work here. His facial expressions were arrogant while saying "I'm one of the first 5 people in the company" then the company owner lady came and all of the sudden the guy starting smiling and became very friendly....it looked unprofessional to me who has worked for 10 years for a company with 140 nationalities and presence in more than 80 countries.
