I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at In-N-Out Burger (Pleasant Hill, CA) in Jan 2014
Interview
The interview was incredibly relaxing, yet professional. The issue is how to get an interview, it is typically hard to receive one without an inside reference. They use a two-interview hiring process. The first interview will be a group interview with the second manager and the second will be with the store manager face-to-face. You must be clean-cut and appear professional. If you keep a smile on and stay energetic, you'll get hired.

It was pretty good, though they made me wait a bit long. I got in and they asked me about myself and past experiences. They asked about my availability and why would Iw want to work at this company.
