I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Instacart
Interview
Submitted my application online (via my phone) and was contacted in about a week and a half. The office was in Soho NYC -- you cannot be late for the group interview or you'll be turned away. They initially spoke about the company and the ins/outs of the position: be swift+ accurate and you'll make more money! We went to Whole Foods down the block and went through a demo order. Basically those of us who were able to find 5 specific items in 15 minutes were hired. You need to be able to weigh produce and substitute missing food items with something similar or pretty close (i.e. Hanover Gluten Free Pretzels vs Utz Gluten Free Pretzels).

Interview
There was no interview process you just apply online or through the shopper app. They run a background check and as soon as that went through they sent me a card and I was able to start shopping the only thing is sometimes they have a wait list I got lucky when I applied and there was no waitlist but some people have to wait months if there’s too many shoppers in their area.
