Interview

Phone call with recruiter, hard to build a rapport with. Felt they were uninterested within the first 10 seconds and should have called it quits then rather than waste each others time.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Instant Impact (London, England) in Aug 2015

Interview

Great experience, interviewers were kind and didn't make the interview stressful. First stage is a phone call, then an online interview and then a final phone call and a training day. The position is great for uni students and as long as you're a out going person with past references to prove your a people person, you'll be fine. Be ready to answer an example on how you would advertise to a specific subject group, mine was engineering.

Interview Tips

Senior Graphic Designer

Hello all- I have a question. Context: I've completed a four-stage interview process for a design position at a large retail corp. The final interview on Nov 15 went very well! I sent thank-you notes that week and last holiday week sent flowers and an edible arrangement, thanking and asking about next steps. They said they have been busy + will reach out soon. It's almost been two weeks. They have been so eager the entire process and now it's quiet. Should I email them again? Is this normal?

For anyone who has ever gone through an interview process, only to be told at the end that the role is on hold (due to budget review or such) have you ever actually gotten reached out again with an update? It happened to me today so just wanting to see if it makes sense to just treat this as a rejection even if i was told there might be an update.

I have a curious question to ask. I'm working on a way to help people do better at their job interviews.  What would you say is the hardest part about taking a job interview? And what can make the experience easier?
