Glad that I was not the only one that had a negative experience with their interview process. After a series of one-way interviews, I had to submit a work sample that I thought was going to be short, but ended up taking almost 9 hours to complete in the end, I did not receive an offer to move onto the next round using a generic rejection email. I asked for feedback given how much time I spent on this product and all I received was another generic email saying that they were at capacity. I am positive that they are using the simple work that was provided to guide their own work.

Question 1
Why do you want to work for instruction partners and what about this role excite you?
They have a robot first mentality - they asked that we do a SparkHire video interview, which is a such a good indication of how they value people (they don't), and then never followed up. It's been weeks. It's not just an inequitable approach (a lot of research has been done on this) but also really disrespectful to applicants.

Question 1
They put us through scenarios but instead of talking to a person, we were just recording ourselves.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Instruction Partners in Jun 2025
Interview
First round was a video interview via Spark Hire, second round was an assessment that took 3 ish hours, 3rd round was an actual interview with people via Zoom, then another 4th round interview.
They asked for 4 references prior to the 4th interview and I confirmed with 3 of my references that they responded. 2 days after the 4th interview, HR reaches out to me and says they've only heard back from one reference. I ask them to double check, they say ok, and that was the last formal communication with them. Late that evening I got what looked like an automated email saying my offer letter was cancelled? I was never told there was an offer letter...I hear nothing until about 2.5 weeks later when I receive a generic rejection email. They wasted a lot of my time and all I got was a generic HR email.
