The process was thorough and gave me a detailed view of many aspects of Integrate: engineering, culture, people development, executives, etc. I felt both that I was getting to know Integrate and that they genuinely wanted to know me. This personal touch separated them from other companies I was talking to at the time. They assessed both the technical skills I would need for the role and whether or not I would be a good fit in the company's culture.
During the interview process, one of my children was going through a major health issue. I wanted to make absolutely sure that Integrate's medical insurance would cover her care during and after my transition. Integrate went out of their way to schedule conversations with senior human resource representatives to make sure my child would be taken care of. I could tell they cared about my family, even to the point of wanting me to stay at my previous employer if it meant my daughter would be better cared for. (Thankfully, their medical insurance is great, so I was able to join the team.)
