I recently had a disappointing experience with one of the recruiters. From the start of the call, the tone felt unusually harsh and impatient. When I accidentally mispronounced her name, her attitude immediately changed for the worse. She became noticeably curt and dismissive, and shortly afterward my interview was canceled without a clear explanation.
The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and left me with a very negative first impression of the hiring process.
I hope the company provides better recruiter training, especially around communication, empathy, and candidate experience. A respectful hiring process reflects the organization’s values, and this experience unfortunately did not.
