      Project Manager Interview

      18 May 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Iterable in May 2026

      Interview

Met with the recruiter and screening went well. Then met with the director and again it went well and she told me she wanted me to meet with the rest of the team and the recruiter would organize (this was on a Friday afternoon). I didn't hear from them so by Monday end of day I messaged the recruiter, and nothing. I emailed her again a few days later and nothing. I gave up on them. Then a week and a half later she emailed me saying that we were going to pass.

      Interview

I recently interviewed for a position at Iterable and wanted to share my experience for anyone considering applying. Communication Issues: I had multiple interview dates scheduled, but they were rescheduled several times at the last minute, or the recruiter didn’t show up for the call. This was really frustrating and made it hard to keep track of what was going on. Professionalism: I expected a more respectful and inclusive process, especially as someone from an underrepresented group. The way things were handled felt unprofessional and made me question the company’s commitment to diversity and their respect for candidates’ time. Final Thoughts: I hope Iterable takes this feedback to heart. How candidates are treated really matters and can impact how people view the company. Just a heads-up for others looking into this opportunity!

      Interview

Applied. Met with a recruiter. Was told they would be reviewing the requirements for the role with the hiring manager (something that should have been done before interviews occurred) and get back to me by end of week. Ghosted by recruiter.

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to interview with our recruiter. We are very sorry to hear that your experience during the process was not a positive one. The nature of our industry is fast-paced, and ever-evolving. As a result, the needs of some hiring managers might change due to rapidly shifting needs or market conditions. In this case, it is likely that the team re-evaluated their parameter for the role once it was externalized. While uncommon, this does happen. We know that your time is valuable, and communication from the recruiter with whom you were partnering is incredibly important. We’ll be digging-in to what happened. If you have not already heard back from your recruiter, you should hear back soon. Thank you for your time, and we encourage you to keep an eye out for open roles!
