I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at J.B. Hunt Transport (Lowell, AR) in May 2018
Interview
I was contacted by an HR rep a couple of days after I applied. She requested that I answer a few standard questions over email: salary expectations, have a previously worked for a logistics company, am I legally allowed to work in the US, the usual. The same day she scheduled a phone call with me. She asked me very standard questions about my experience and what I think I would bring the to the company. She then said she wanted to set up an interview with the manager in control of interviewing candidates. We set up the interview for just a few hours later on the same day. It moved very fast. This interview was a phone interview which lasted about 45 minutes. He asked specifics about how my work and past experience applied to this role etc. After this final phone interview they offered to fly me out for an in person interview. I as flown out about 2 weeks later. There were 2 rounds of group interviews with the whole team I would be working with. The interviews were thorough but friendly and conversational at the same time. They were big on the “why JB Hunt question”. After the 2nd Interview that day the team took me to lunch and then the manager gave me a tour of the building, campus and facilities. I was told I would hear something earlier the following week but was offered the job about 2 weeks later. Overall it was a very easy going fun interview process but it was long and extensive, which is to be expected. Very positive experience with everyone along the way.
