I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at J.B. Hunt Transport
Interview
It was a campus interview process. Met with two Fleet Managers. They described the job, required hours, how well the industry and JB Hunt has done/are doing. The interviewers were both friendly and there wasn't any pressure at all. There was not much to the interview process before, during, or after the interview.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at J.B. Hunt Transport (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2015
Interview
I applied in December and had an Interview in January. I got a call to set up the phone interview and to review the overall job inclusions. The phone interview was scheduled for about a week later and lasted about 45 minutes, very standard; they wanted to know if you knew about their company (and what exactly you knew) and how would what you have done previously apply to the job itself- it was pretty thorough! The in person interview was the very same week as the phone interview. I arrived early and had the pleasure of having an interview with three managers! Surprisingly enough I wasn't that nervous because I actually did my research on the company (WHICH I WOULD COMPLETELY RECOMMEND!!!) and they asked similar questions to the ones from the phone interview as well as a few critical thinking questions based off of my answers and they also informed me on some things. That interview lasted maybe 30- 40 minutes tops. I was told there were some people to interview after me and I am now awaiting some type of call for the decision.
One interview with two guys from different locations. Both had worked their way up withing the company in different ways. Asked basic behavior questions, things like what happened in a situation where you...... and how would you change the way you acted now looking back.
