I applied online. I interviewed at Jade Software (Sydney) in Nov 2025
Interview
I received a screen call from the recruiting, and I was asked to answer 5 questions by video recording. Something I don't get comfortable.
I never got any feedback or contact after that other than a very standard rejection note by email.
I attended the interview as a fresher and the overall experience was positive. The process consisted of multiple rounds including an initial screening, a technical round focused on SQL, Linux, and OOPS concepts, and an HR discussion. The technical round included basic problem-solving questions and scenario-based questions related to application support. The interviewers were professional and the process was well structured.

Interview
I had a chat with the hiring manager and it sounded like an interesting role. first interview with engineering leads, final interview with a panel with some of their leadership team with take-home assessment and psychometric tests
All interviews apart from the final one were positive, standard interview questions and people were friendly.
It went downhill in the last interview. One of the panel members was asking me abstract technical questions I didn't understand and did not appear keen on my answers and efforts. It was full hour interrogation and a strange experience and I left the interview confused.
Turned out they wanted something else out of the role, so no offer. Happy I dodged a bullet but not happy I wasted time to prep.
