I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Jama Software (Portland, OR) in Dec 2019
Interview
I had a very positive experience throughout the recruitment and interview process. I initially reached out to one of Jama's recruiters to learn more about the position and the company, which lead to a 1-1 phone interview with the hiring manager. Following these two phone interviews was one on-site interview that lasted 2.5 hours. During this interview, I got to meet five of the pleasant software engineers that work at Jama. This interview consisted of three "rounds": a behavioral question portion, a technical challenge, and a final meeting with the hiring manager. I was also given a tour of Jama's lovely Portland office.
During this entire process, every member of Jama that I emailed and spoke with was very kind and helpful. Also, all members of Jama couldn't stop raving about their positive experiences at work and with their coworkers. Having not heard of this company prior to their job posting, I walked away from my final interview hoping I would be given the opportunity to work here.
The only negative I can think of during this process was that I was given no information on how to best prepare for their on-site interviews. Otherwise, I highly suggest looking into Jama Software for your next job.
