      Account Manager Interview

      26 Feb 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jisc

      Interview

I had an initial phone call then I was invited to do an online assessment. I was then invited in to a face to face meeting with the HR and hiring managers. I was asked a number of competency based questions followed by a role play. I was dissapointed about the communication of how this interview will be structured as I was only told the night before that there will also be a Role play (not sure if the recruiter forget to commincate this earlier) and this threw me off a little. The whole interview took over 2 hrs and to be honest I was very exhausted and believed this should have been split in to two parts.

Thank you for you feedback – it’s always useful to understand how we can improve our recruitment processes. We will investigate the circumstances surrounding the briefing you received and put in place steps to prevent this from happening again. In terms of the duration of the interview, I’m sorry to hear you found this so challenging. We try to fit things in to as few as possible meetings because we know a lot of people struggle to get time off work and would prefer to come in once to multiple times. However, we recognise that we might need to make adjustments or special arrangements for some people to do their best and offer this option in our interview invites.
