I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Jobelephant.com (San Diego, CA) in Feb 2020
Interview
One of the worst interviews I have ever had. First off, there was absolutely no parking and a construction site in the parking lot so it took about 10 minutes to wait for someone to leave. After waiting quite a while to start the interview, I was laughed at by the administration that was interviewing me. The interview probably lasted less than 5 minutes and more than half of it was spent with me being extremely uncomfortable as 3 grown adults laughed at my prior work experience. Overall, an extremely unprofessional and disappointing experience.
First, sorry for the delayed response to this but as a small company we've been focused on navigating the COVID19 crisis for the past 10 months. Regarding your interview, I don't know what we could have done about nearby construction - there is plenty of free parking at our offices. Your characterization of what happened is anathema to our personal & professional values and is simply untrue. Our talent acquisition process typically includes a phone screening to determine if a face to face meeting is appropriate. Unfortunately, it sounds like this phone call didn’t discover the obvious mismatch between you and our firm. I hope you find more suitable employment elsewhere.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jobelephant.com (San Diego, CA) in Dec 2011
Interview
Met with the CEO and CFO. Very comfortable, positive interview. We talked about the unique business model Jobelephant.com brings to their clients. Went over the role of an Ad Rep and what was expected. 3 weeks later, I accepted the position and became part of a dynamic team.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Jobelephant.com (San Diego, CA) in Jun 2010
Interview
Good interview with the husband and wife owners. Seemed like everything was on the up and up. Small company with just a few employees. First impression was that it was very quiet for an ad agency. Learned later that the company is a nose to the grindstone, assembly line job posting company. Hardly anyone communicates with one another.
