I investigated what took place here, and as a result I wanted to address the points that you raised for the benefit of anyone reading this review. Although you are based in Colorado, you applied for a Solutions Engineer position in our South African office, since you stated that you were interested in relocating to South Africa. We interviewed you at our Denver offices for the position in South Africa. During the final stages of the interview process, you indicated that you had changed your mind with regard to relocating to South Africa, and asked if you can interview for a Solutions Engineer position in our Denver office. We had to re-evaluate you as a candidate since the experience level required for the Denver position was different from the South African position that you originally interviewed for. The outcome of this process was that you did not have enough experience for the Denver position. We made some recommendations on what you can do to address the shortcomings identified. Our VP also provided you with an in-depth post-interview feedback email which stated the detailed reasons why you did not meet our experience thresholds for the Denver position. I hope this clarifies what occurred in the hiring process. We take our hiring process very seriously and hold ourselves to a high standard — we never want to waste anyone's time or lead anyone on.
