I applied online. I interviewed at K15t in Jan 2026
Interview
Interviews done in 2 weeks.
Starting screening interview to understand if I and the company were aligned. I was told the most important aspects of the role and what the company values;
The second step involved an assessment to understand the way I think and work;
Some days later I had a skill interview, to discuss the assessment I made and was asked technical questions to understand my qualifications for the role, with room for me to ask any questions;
The last interview was with members of the team I would join, where I was able to ask questions and understand the company culture.

Question 1
Are you willing to travel to Stuttgart for Team Weeks?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at K15t (Berlin) in Sept 2024
Interview
Unprofessional interview processes overall
It started with an initial screening call with the recruiter which was positive, and I got quickly scheduled for the next interview with the CTO.
There I had the chance to present my background and get to know the company on a higher level, ask questions, etc. (I also spent some time learning more about the company's product and history which was suggested by the recruiter beforehand)
At the end of the call, I was presented with the further recruitment process and next step which was a code review home assignment task.
The recruiter asked me to provide them a short feedback after the call, which I did but never got any reply.
I spent around 3-4 hours on this part and wrote around 5 pages (A4) of suggestions to the hypothetical junior colleague, added accompanying code commits, and sent them back the day after.
After that point, I was met with complete silence from both the recruiter and any company contact for close to 2 weeks, when the recruiter emailed me shortly that other candidates had gotten the offer.
Lack of communication and no feedback to candidates about their applications, while requesting a decent amount of time from them, shows the state of company culture.

Question 1
Would I be willing to travel to Stuttgart for one week quarterly ?
Hey there, I'm sorry things didn't work out this time, but I appreciate the effort you put in – also that you wrote this feedback so that we can improve. I do apologize for the two-week delay in getting back to you, that shouldn't happen; I'm addressing it internally and with our recruiter.
-Stefan (CEO and Co-founder)
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at K15t (Stuttgart)
Interview
I applied online using K15t's website and got an invitation for a first interview the same week. I was then asked to work on a sample project to communicate the features of a fictional product and prepare an announcement on social media. This first interview was followed by a second one with the CEO the following week, and shortly after that, I had the opportunity to meet the future team (online). A few more calls followed to clarify the contractual details. I had the documents to sign within less than four weeks after sending my application. During the entire process, the interviews were all very friendly and open, questions were answered well and quickly, and at all times, I felt that my expectations were just as important as those of the team and the company to bring together the right people.

Question 1
Questions about my motivation, experience, what drives me in general, and what I am looking for. Also how I imagine working in the team, and how I would like to move the product forward.
