Round 1: General Aptitude Test
This is the initial screening stage, designed to evaluate basic problem-solving and analytical skills. It usually covers three sections:
Quantitative Aptitude (Quants):
Topics: arithmetic, algebra, percentages, ratios, time & work, speed & distance, probability, permutations & combinations, etc.
Purpose: to check numerical ability, accuracy, and speed.
Logical Reasoning:
Topics: puzzles, seating arrangements, coding–decoding, series, syllogisms, blood relations, and analytical reasoning.
Purpose: to test logical thinking, pattern recognition, and decision-making skills.
Verbal Ability:
Topics: reading comprehension, sentence correction, synonyms/antonyms, error spotting, and vocabulary-based questions.
Purpose: to check command over English language and communication.
Candidates must clear this stage to move forward.
Round 2: Stream-Specific Aptitude
This round is focused on your educational background/stream of study (e.g., Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, etc.).
For Computer Science/IT: questions may cover DBMS, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Software Engineering, and basic programming concepts.
For Electronics/Electrical: topics could include circuits, signals, digital electronics, power systems, etc.
Round 3: Coding/Programming Round
In this stage, you will be given one or more coding problems.
You must write, debug, and execute your solution in the provided programming language(s) (commonly C, C++, Java, or Python).
The problems may range from simple (like string manipulation or array operations) to intermediate/complex (like recursion, dynamic programming, data structures, or algorithmic logic).
Key evaluation factors: correctness, efficiency, coding style, and ability to handle edge cases.
Round 4: HR Interview
The final stage is usually conversational, aimed at evaluating personality, communication, and cultural fit.
Typical areas include:
Introduction and background: Tell me about yourself, strengths, weaknesses, hobbies.
