My experience was that Kraft was very by the book. The HR rep insisted that the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Results) was followed very closely. I have used STAR on many occasions; however, I never had an interviewer be so strict with regard to following this format. She had 4 boxes for each area and recorded notes from each question this way. I found the reliance on this method to hurt the interview flow and my ability to 'tell stories' rather than provide a systematic response.
Overall, the experience was good. I suppose the strict HR policy is necessary due to the sheer volume of candidates Kraft has apply. I was told that less than 1% of the applicants were given interviews in my year. Getting past the written application stage is definitely the hardest part! Good luck.
