I interviewed 6 months back and never heard from them again (only one interview). 6 months later they reach out and say they'd like to see me again if I'd be interested. I believe they brought me back because I speak Portuguese and needed someone for Brazilian HNW. I came in and met with two people. They start drilling me about what I do in my current job and my performance. It was like rapid fire and I was just trying to be as clear as I could in my responses and stay calm. The hiring manager was focused on how many calls a day I made and how hard working I'd be. They wanted to end the interview and I asked if I could ask some questions. I was about 3 questions in when one interviewer said "OK last question". I found this very rude in not interview friendly. Interviews are a two way street. I received an offer the next day. After one interview. I wasn't happy or felt comfortable so I asked to come back in to meet the hiring manager again. This interview was much better and I really got to know him and what he was looking for. Just don't know why they didn't do that in the first place. Ended up not taking the job as they offered me a lateral salary and commission was not competitive with what I was currently making. I later reached out to two people on LinkedIn who used to work for the firm to get their viewpoint. Didn't tell me a lot of great things.
