They had three stages: 1 - the application 2 - the online exam that was paired with a hirevue, asking really simple questions like why laz, why ib, past experiences etc (no technical at all but commercial awareness was required) 3 - got a phone call to schedule an interview - they really assessed who you were as a person more than any technical skills you had. why this role/why laz/ why IB/ commercial awareness/ if you could have dinner w anyone who would it be/ tell me something thats not on your cv/ what do you think will be expected of you from this experience/ a time when you had to work as a team.

45 minute interview with two people from HR, mostly motivational and competency. Very friendly HR, looking for maturity, good understanding of Lazard’s business and good communication. It was overall, an easy-medium interview.
