I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Learning Disabilities Society (Vancouver, BC) in Jan 2020
Interview
Society is extremely disorganized in its approach to hire. They advertised a position and 4 months later changed the position title, without changing the scope, and advertised again. Of course probably to lower the wages. They book the meeting online, addressing candidate with the wrong name. They ask for references and do not check them and then ask the questions on interview that could have been addressed by references. The panel of interviewers did clearly not read candidate's resume and other detail and ask question that were irrelevant.

Question 1
Questions were not aligned with the experience of a candidate: they were more for someone that recently completed University.
They look for someone very long term and then they ask a candidate how quickly can they learn the details of the position. At the end, the candidate received a rejection with the unsolicited review of the candidate and why they failed, very presumptuous and not kind to say it mildly. The Director of the Society should review her abilities and how she handled the process prior to criticizing others. This candidate NEVER experiences something like this. DO NOT RECCOMEND this place, appears disorganized.
