I interviewed at Learning through an Expanded Arts Program (LEAP)
Interview
The interview process was clear and straightforward. Interviewer was friendly. It felt like a conversation. There was onboarding afterwards and it was also streamlined easily. Overall the experience could have been overwhelming but it wasn’t.

Interview
I first applied on the company’s website and submitted all the forms and documentation. I then met with the program directors at the time at the site for an in person interview. After negotiating pay, I was hired on the spot and signed more paperwork. Last thing I had to do was background checks and fingerprinting for DOE.

Question 1
Have you worked with middle school children before of this demographic? How well do you handle confrontation? Why do you want to work with our school program?
I applied online. I interviewed at Learning through an Expanded Arts Program (LEAP) (New York, NY) in May 2022
Interview
This was a long and unnecessary interview process. This organization lacks structure in its talent management process and they do not value candidates. I had 2 interviews and was told I would be hearing back with a final decision within 2 weeks, I didn't hear back until 2 months later. I was contacted 2 months later to schedule a 3rd interview, which is insane. The 3rd round interviewer told me I would be hearing back the next week, and so far it has been 2 months with no update. Terrible candidate experience and I would not be applying here again. They did not have the courtesy or professionalism to send an update email.
