I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Leighton Offshore (Mumbai) in Feb 2011
Interview
Interview took approx. 30-45 mins. Both the HR representative and Interviewer were very friendly and transparent. Felt comfortable talking to them and asking them questions about the company. Only back draw, the confirmation process and other paper works like issuing offer letter took more than 3 months.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Leighton Offshore (Kuala Lumpur) in Feb 2011
Interview
The agent called to set the first interview with Project Director. It was followed by an email confirming date and time. The initial position was for Procurement Manager - Projects. This position calls for a "buyer" for the projects. There will be no subordinates or managing skill required. In my opinion, they should not call it as "manager" post.
Two weeks later, the agent called me for a second interview. This time it was with the Senior Manager, Commercial. Due to my experience and diverse background, i was offered for the position of Procurement Manager - Corporate. The task was to streamline the procurement process to the oil and gas industry and develop a centralized procurement department.
