The interview process was pretty straight forward starting with a video interview and then and in person panel interview. Interviews went really well from my perspective and I left the in person one feeling good about my chances. Considering I was given a tour of the office and the data room, something I would not typically do with a candidate I would not move forward with, I liked my chances of getting an offer. After 2 weeks I emailed the internal recruiter for an update to which he apologized for not getting back to me and said they were going to move in a different direction. My suspicions thought there was some disapproval in some of there research somewhere but no company would ever admit to that for liability reasons. I was a little perplexed that they never asked for references or did any type of in depth due diligence.
