The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LexBlog
Interview
I applied online and received an email message to schedule a phone screening.
The phone screening lasted approximately 15 minutes -- the screener explained the process as:
( paraphrased ) "I'll do the phone screenings and then forward the applications I think would be a good fit to the hiring manager. The hiring manager will select the candidates for the next round of interviews."
A week later, received rejection letter that they have "decided to take this position in a different direction."

Question 1
Standard Questions: What do you know about LexBlog? What does LexBlog do? What interests you about the position.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LexBlog (Seattle, WA) in Sept 2019
Interview
All interviews were done remotely.
30-minute phone interview with COO.
45-minute Google Hangouts video call with CTO one week later.
A couple days later, 45-minute Google Hangouts video call with lead designer.
The next day, 45-minute Google Hangouts video call with two developers.
After all the calls, and repeatedly emailing them, I have heard nothing about the position. Very disappointing that this much time was invested and I have no closure.

Question 1
Why should we hire a person outside of the company instead of promoting from within? And, why should we hire somebody remotely instead of somebody that can work in the main office?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LexBlog (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2016
Interview
Received an email request for phone screening shortly after submitting my application. After the phone screen, received an email asking for my salary requirements and letting me know they'd like to bring me in to interview with the team. After I responded, it took a couple of days for them to respond back with a time for the interview.
At the interview, I spoke with three people. The first two were pleasant and used the normal behavioral interview style. The last person was a different story. This interviewer used the "Stress Interview" style, which I thought was complete overkill for a lower level CS Specialist role. The interviewer asked questions that became pretty unrelated to job performance and was borderline rude. Further, this person, who said they were judging my "cultural fit" for the company, had only been with the company for two months. After the experience with the last interviewer, my interest in working for the company dropped to zero.
It's been over two weeks since the interview and I never heard from them again, which is fine since I didn't want the job, but they still should've had the courtesy to send a decision.
