Interview
Interview process for an administrative position took 2+ months. Company asked for references and then asked those references for others they could speak to.
When I expressed the process was taking too long and I’d be moving on, I was told the CEO was on vacation.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LiquidPiston (Bloomfield, CT) in Feb 2024
Interview
The interview was casual or more laid back than formal. Being that everyone in the room was an expert: CTO, VP Eng, Chief Eng, etc. The conversations centered around processes and Agile being the CEOs preferred choice vs. 6Sig, etc. The interview lasted several hours and while I believe I had the full confidence of the engineering leads (they said as much), it was ultimately the CEOs decision. I believe we could have done some great things together since it is a start-up and nothing is set in stone. Ultimately they are a very small outfit, looking to grow in a certain direction, no shot-gun approach to hiring, as it seems they are looking for very specific individuals.

Question 1
Do you feel Agile can work in an aerospace, gov't customer environment similar to what Tesla is doing, as they change parts and components on their cars frequently.
