      Sales Development Representative (SDR) Interview

      29 Jan 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at LogRocket in Jan 2026

      Interview

*Update at the bottom* I applied online and heard back a week later. Process began with a phone call screening that was about my background and why I am interested in the position. The next step was a writing sample where I had to write out 2 emails as outreach with a provided customer profile. After the sample, I was scheduled for a mock sales call. They will provide you with advice and the customer profile for you to prepare ahead of time. The final round was a 2 hour in person interview. You will meet with the CEO and CRO for 30 min, then SDR Manager and VP Marketing for 30 min, and finally a coffee chat with current employees for 30 min. While the process was extensive, I enjoyed it overall because I was provided a lot of feedback throughout (I asked for it after each round) and felt supported. It felt like they genuinely wanted me to succeed, especially for the direct manager. **EDIT**: I was told "The team was all very positive about your meetings and would like to move forward with an offer." from the VP of People and asked for references. A week later was told "Unfortunately the team has decided not to move forward with your candidacy" with a generic email. I asked for feedback through a call and was met with defensiveness and hostility around their processes. I was told explicitly that they went with a more qualified candidate; however, the same day as my rejection, the posting was reposted by the VP of people for the same position. This was an unnecessary lie and shows more about their character. This seems to be the norm for them to make a candidate go through a month of interviews, waste your time, and lie. There was no transparency at the end, and their communication is seriously lacking.

      Interview

The interview process went as follows: Phone screen, Mock Email, Mock cold call, 2 hour final round interview with multiple people. Overall fairly easy process and everyone was very nice. They seem to be very selective for an entry level position

      Interview

A lot of interviews. Around 3 rounds. The recruiters were very organized and on top of things. I liked the culture and they all seemed relative to the position. Did not get picked at the end and not sure why.
