I made it to the panel interview. First, I was reached by the hiring manager via email and did a phone screening of 30 minutes where I shared my experience and learned more about the role and the company. 2nd interview was again with the hiring manager plus the VP of Customer Success, zoom call. On this call there was a deep dive into my experience and responsibilities on each of my previous roles. The 3rd interview was a panel QBR mock call where I presented a QBR deck.

Overall I had a pretty negative experience interviewing with this company. I was a candidate who was seeking to transition to a new role, and interviewed with Logikcull in the hopes of switching career tracks. The interviewers during my virtual "on-site" seemed ill prepared to properly assess a candidate who hasn't previously worked this type of role. The questions felt closed ended, rather than open and exploratory (i.e. "so you've never done this before?" or "so you've never done a QBR before?"). They were well aware that I was coming from a sales background, but seemed to have already made up there minds that they wouldn't accept a candidate with tertiary experience. One of the interviewer who was not apart of the CS team expected me to ask all the questions for the entire 45 minute segment. To me that indicates a lack of effort or preparedness The recruiters (who required 2 weeks and multiple follows up to get back to me after the on-site), make it a point to mention that the interviewers are really good at making candidates feel comfortable, but my experience would describe them as somewhat standoff-ish and even slightly interrogative at times. At the end of the day, I'm okay with not receiving an offer, I just wish that I wasn't asked to invest so much time and effort, if the team knew they wanted someone with different work experience.
