Review: Disorganized and Unprofessional Interview Process
I had a very disappointing experience with Lowe’s hiring process. My interview was rescheduled at the last minute, and while I was driving to the new time, I received a notification that it had been canceled. I called the store to confirm, but the hiring manager was unavailable, and I was told someone would follow up to reschedule. Instead, I received an email the next day saying other candidates had been selected — without anyone ever interviewing me.
The process was disorganized and frustrating. I rearranged my schedule and wasted valuable time for a company that clearly doesn't respect applicants' time or take the hiring process seriously. It’s especially discouraging for college students or young professionals looking to get their foot in the door. Very unprofessional.

Interview
I was lead into the staff area and given a basic interview. The interview was easy with mostly questions about how I would react to certain situations. An example was “how would I react to a customer trying to steal?”

Interview
I applied online through the Lowe’s careers site. I heard back within about a week to schedule an interview. The interview was in-person with the department manager. It lasted about 20–30 minutes and was fairly straightforward. The manager was friendly and explained the role clearly.
