I was referred by a current employee back in late July/Early August. Within the first week of August I had a recruiter reach out to get phone screened. The process went well, 30 minutes was booked out but the call only took about 15 minutes. A week later I was asked to set up some time to speak with the Hiring Manager. By this time, it is mid-August and I'm interviewing with the hiring manager. I thought the interview went smooth and he mentioned that I can hear back from the recruiter about next-steps. I waited one week (it is now end of August) before following up, and she called me back stating that they're still interviewing other candidates, which is understandable since I was one of the first applicants to apply/interview once I saw the job opening. She let me know she will update me if they decide to move forward with this role, since there are a lot of position openings in this department supposedly. However, it has now been 3 weeks, almost 1 month since my last interview with the hiring manager. Like many other reviews mention, it would be appreciated to at least send a rejection email, or something along that line other than completely ghosting your candidates. Many qualified individuals are actually passionate about wanting to work for this particular company, and not even having the time to send a rejection email is disappointing. Overall, I've officially waited a month to hear back and got nothing; while I was eager about wanting to work here, it's time to move on and bring my skills elsewhere. According to other reviews I've read, I assume I'm not the only person who experienced this "ghosting" of candidates after the final interview. Expected more from this nice, cutting edge company. But thank you for the opportunity.
