First, fill in online form. Then you need to make super-easy task online, which was strange as I applied for a senior position. After completing I got a message that I got 100% points for the test (it was so easy it was not a surprise), and we should arrange a call. The call was a talk with a recruiter, general talk. The last topic was about salary, they offered me 45k USD as I am still a junior according to them. My answer was like Whaaat? I am applying for Senior position and you say I am a Junior based on what, the task I made 100% correct? Well, the answer was that I have only 4 years experience, while many people working there have 20 years. Then I asked so how can they have 20 years experience if rails were created less than 20 years ago. This was actually the main topic of the talk we had. After a few days, I got email that there are more experienced candidates than me so they hold my application.
