A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn since I have PR experience - I think she had a certain position in mind, then that changed to another one as we talked on a brief screening call. I then spoke with two managers for 30 minutes each and was directed to yet another position for which they thought I'd be a better fit. I talked to another manager and then did not hear anything for 1.5 weeks, so I emailed the recruiter. Another week later, I got a reply saying the team felt I wasn't the right fit. I wasn't totally surprised - I'm a "work to live" person and definitely got a "live to work" vibe, though everyone I talked to was pleasant.
