      Scrum Master Interview

      20 Jun 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Magic EdTech in May 2025

      Interview

I was contacted directly by the HR (Aini) in May 2025 for a Scrum Master role. Right from the start, I clearly mentioned that I have a 60-day notice period, non-negotiable. Despite this, the HR proceeded with the process, scheduled two rounds of interviews, and dragged things on for nearly three weeks. Then, complete silence. No update, no rejection, not even a basic acknowledgment — just radio silence after I reconfirmed that my notice period couldn’t be shortened. If the timeline was an issue, it should’ve been addressed upfront instead of wasting my time and effort. What’s frustrating isn’t the rejection — it’s the lack of basic professionalism and courtesy. Ghosting candidates after multiple rounds is unacceptable and leaves a lasting negative impression of the company.
