      Underwriting Assistant Interview

      3 Jan 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Fort Lauderdale, FL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Marsh (Fort Lauderdale, FL)

      Interview

A recruiter working directly for the company reached out to me (found me via LinkedIn). I was interested in the position, so we set up a phone interview, followed by several online tests. About 4 weeks later, an in person interview was scheduled with the hiring manager and her boss. The interview was pretty quick. I asked several questions, but they hardly asked me any. Then, I had to take another test (a mathematical one). Several months passed, and I haven’t heard a word. I followed up with the hiring manager, who gave me her card, as well as HR, and never received a response. Obviously, I didn’t get the job. I thought a rejection email would have been nice, considering a spent lots of time interviewing and test-taking.
