I had dropped off my resume at a carer fair and honestly had completely forgot about it so the call asking me for an interview was a nice surprise. The interview was pretty standard, she had questions on a sheet and she was just recording my answer, I felt like I was being repetitive because I had only had one job before and a lot of the questions were work experience related. Overall, it was easy and she said she'd call my references, and if that went well, she'd call me to set up when I start.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Marshalls (Atwater, CA) in Oct 2021
Interview
Both the phone interview and in person interview were a really good experience. Skilled management focused on customer service during interviews. Very friendly and welcoming, one of the best interviews I've ever attended.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Marshalls (Hamden, CT) in Nov 2018
Interview
Basically gave a paper application in person. Called the next day to tell thr manager that I sent it in. After the weekend i contacted the manager and asked if we can set a interview day and he accepted and said on thursday (note; i started this process on a Saturday).
Interview was nice and calming. Basically asled simple questions, "What does customer service mean to you" , " What would you do in this X situation" stuff like that. The manager was super nice, his name was Roland and he made the interview feel very comfortable.
Filled out some paper work while he informed me of what hours I would have and the duties I would have to do. Then told me to show up to orientation unless I got a call.
So waiting for my call or orientation at the moment.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Marshalls (Phoenix, AZ) in Nov 2018
Interview
It was a group interview but fairly relaxed. It was me and four others and we had to fill out paper applications if we applied through indeed or whatever. Then they just wanted to know a little bit about each applicant. You need to be able to provide two professional references so be prepared with that. If you've never worked, they said a teacher, pastor, or coach could work.
