Interview
Applied to Maven security they were quick to respond with a hacker rank coding test with 3 questions. Having spent a few hours on the test, my answers passed all but one test case. After submitting, i was rejected the next day the reason being that i did the test in python, total waste of time. If you want someone to do the test in a specific language i think it's common knowledge to let them know beforehand or restrict the test to only that language, i was given the choice to code in python or c#. I could have done both, but thought python would be much quicker to code in. Programming languages are just tools they don't determine whether you're a good programmer.
