I applied online. I interviewed at Mawer Investment Management in Dec 2023
Interview
The recruiter was great at setting expectations and timelines. He was very forthcoming about base salary expectations and the interview process. First is a quick 10-15 min phone call with the recruiter for a screen. If you make it past that then it's 3 interviews. 1 with the hiring manager, 1 with two associates, and then a final one with an investment counsellor. I only made it to the two associates. That interview was the toughest as it felt like you were in front of a firing squad. They would alternate between asking questions. They also repeated a lot of questions that the hiring manager had already asked. They said the reason they're so thorough is because they want to protect their culture. They did let it known that a big issue is burn out and workload which did raise some red flags.

I applied through other source. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Mawer Investment Management
Interview
I had five interviews after the fith nterview was called by HR to tell me they found a better fit based on company culture. During the final interview was made to feel like they were asking me to give them free consultation to my current employer process and were they are finding opportunities.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mawer Investment Management (Calgary, AB) in May 2023
Interview
There were 3 interviews. First is the initial HR screening which was easy. Tell me about yourself and why you are interested. The second interview was with the product owner and team manager which was also straightforward. The third interview was with the project manager and data compliance analyst. After the third interview I never heard back. Did not even have the decency for a rejection email or update.
