Initially everything was not bad, they contacted me through linkedin and asked if I would like to try myself in the role of Full Stack Developer, I asked to send a job description, but I wasn’t answered anything, now I understand that it was first negative sign. In a few days I just was sent a link to coding challenge.
The tasks were quite good, I solved them. They immediately answered me and called me to the next stage - a technical interview, it was essentially the same coding challenge with other puzzles and a person who spoke with me and asked questions, I solved tasks and I liked to chat with this person.
I was further invited to an onsite interview. I was paid for plane tickets and booked a hotel. In the end, I paid for the hotel from my own pocket.
Onsight interview was with two managers. Questions from the field do you consider yourself a genius, do you give feedback in your current job, are you passionate developer. They had no idea what position they would interview me, they did not have the true motivation to hire me. They only wrote off working hours for interviews. And sought reasons to refuse. One manager has worked in the company for 20 years, naturally he has his own vision of what an ideal candidate should be and, in general, this vision has nothing to do with reality.
After the interview, no one contacted me for a long time. It was a terrible experience. Initially good, in the end, managers with with their incomprehensible vision. I do not advise it anyone. You can try your luck, but the probability of just wasting time is extremely high.
