I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Micron Technology (Singapore) in Feb 2016
Interview
There were 4 rounds.1 written and 3 technical.Written round is all about logical questions.Technical rounds are based completely on basic electronics and semiconductor manufacturing processes. If you prepare about the role and the basics of electronics, you can crack the interview. In Basic electronics they have asked me about the working of CMOS,enhancement and depletion mode, how cmos works as a inverter, and they gave me a digital circuit diagram and asked me to predict the output. They also asked me to suggest the ways to improve the output stability. For that i have used VLSI concepts to answer that.So before going to the interview, have a nice glance at the VLSI concepts also.
Online assessment on logical thinking prior to two rounds of interview with senior manager and department director. Mostly towards behavioral and scenario question and get ready for all possible questions that didn't get expected.
90-minute interview with 2 different panels, where there were some technical knowledge questions to test my experience with specific equipment. Overall, a positive experience, the 2 panels were both 3-4 people that had a range of job titles and experience, so it was essentially 2 back-to-back interviews
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Micron Technology in Oct 2022
Interview
It was a phone interview performed by an HR. It started with a short introduction of myself. Then I was asked to talk about the work experience/knowledge that I have related to the semiconductor industry. I was also given chances to ask several questions. In the end, HR asked a couple of questions about visa status and salary range.
