I applied through university. I interviewed at Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in May 2016
Interview
Very friendly, easy going. The questions were straight forward and what you'd expect. It was a low stress interview, but this was for an intern position. I'm not sure if a staff position would be a more challenging interview.

Question 1
Do you consider yourself a better reporter or writer?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (Milwaukee, WI) in Sept 2017
Interview
I was shown the production facility to see what the job entailed then went back into the interviewing room to be given papers on scheduling hours and pay-rate. The interview was very simple and only wanted too see what hours you are willing to work and if you would do the job. So basically if you can lift 30 pounds and are breathing you'll get the job.
